Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to lead the design and development of our iOS applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and engaging mobile experiences. As a senior team member, you will also contribute to architectural decisions, ensure code quality, and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain advanced iOS applications in Swift.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for maintainability, performance, and scalability.

Drive architecture discussions and ensure robust app design using patterns like MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.

Write unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Apply secure coding practices, monitor app performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for speed and responsiveness.

Ship accessible experiences (Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, color contrast) and support multiple locales.

Stay current with the latest iOS SDKs, frameworks, and tools to improve the development process.

Manage the full app lifecycle, including App Store submissions and release processes.

Requirements

5+ years of professional iOS development experience with a strong track record of published apps.

Deep expertise in Swift (and knowledge of Objective-C is a plus).

Strong knowledge of UIKit, Core Data, and other iOS frameworks.

Experience integrating with REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries/SDKs.

Solid understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions).

Experience writing automated tests.

Knowledge of App Store policies, provisioning, and certificate management.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and lead initiatives.

Bonus: experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Compose Multiplatform) or mobile security best practices.
