Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to drive the technical vision and execution of our mobile platform. In this role, you will do more than just build features; you will act as a strategic partner to Product and Design, using your engineering expertise to shape the roadmap and unlock new capabilities. You will set the standard for architectural excellence, owning the codebase’s evolution and empowering the team to ship world-class experiences with confidence and speed.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve scalable iOS applications in Swift, designing systems that are not just functional today but ready for future growth.

• Partner closely with Product and Design to shape the roadmap, offering technical insights that influence what we build, not just how we build it.

• Elevate engineering standards by fostering a culture of excellence, proactively mentoring the team, and automating code quality checks rather than just reviewing code.

• Drive architecture discussions that ensure robust design while enabling rapid product iteration and adaptability to market changes.

• Champion holistic product quality, implementing a "test-first" strategy with rigorous automated suites (Unit, Integration, UI) to prevent regressions before they reach QA.

• Apply secure coding practices, monitor app performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for speed and responsiveness.

• Embed inclusivity into the core development process, advocating for Accessibility (Dynamic Type, VoiceOver) and localization as foundational requirements, not afterthoughts.

• Stay current with the latest iOS SDKs, frameworks, and tools to improve the development process.

• Orchestrate the release lifecycle, optimizing CI/CD pipelines and App Store operations to minimize time-to-market and ensure seamless deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with a strong track record of published apps.

• Deep expertise in Swift (and knowledge of Objective-C is a plus).

• Strong knowledge of UIKit, Core Data, and other iOS frameworks.

• Experience integrating with REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries/SDKs.

• Solid understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions).

• Experience writing automated tests.

• Knowledge of App Store policies, provisioning, and certificate management.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and lead initiatives.

• Bonus: experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Compose Multiplatform) or mobile security best practices.
