Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Sales Engineering to lead and develop our presales function. This role is critical in shaping the way XYB engages with potential clients, ensuring that our core banking solutions are effectively positioned to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in core banking systems, a strong background in presales, and a proven track record of setting up and scaling presales teams.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead the presales function, aligning strategy with XYB’s growth goals and market position
Build and manage a high-performing presales team, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and knowledge to drive sales success
Use deep core banking knowledge to guide the team and tailor solutions to meet complex client needs
Serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating with sales to address client needs and position XYB as the preferred partner
Optimize presales processes to ensure a seamless client experience from qualification to handover
Ensure alignment with sales, product, and delivery teams for technically and commercially viable solutions
Stay updated on industry trends to keep XYB’s presales strategies cutting-edge
Track key metrics to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement
Lead the preparation of compelling proposals and RFP responses, building a knowledge base for efficiency
Our Requirements:
10+ years in presales or solution consulting, with a strong focus on core banking systems and financial technology
Proven success in building and scaling presales teams, implementing processes, and delivering measurable results
Deep expertise in core banking systems, including architecture, functionality, and challenges specific to financial institutions
Experience engaging senior financial stakeholders, understanding their needs, and effectively positioning complex solutions
Expertise in crafting and presenting tailored solutions that meet client needs and set XYB apart from competitors
Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Strong ability to assess client needs, market trends, and competition to craft effective presales strategies
