About the role
We’re looking for a People Partner to act as a trusted advisor to leaders across our organisation. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, leadership, and people outcomes — helping teams scale sustainably while maintaining a strong, inclusive culture.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders to shape org design, coach managers, and ensure people practices are aligned with both local Estonian requirements and our broader international footprint.
What you’ll do
Strategic partnering
Work with the VP Strategy and Operations and the Senior People Partner, UK to translate business strategy into people plans that support growth, performance, and engagement
Contribute to organisational design, team effectiveness, succession planning, and workforce planning, bringing a thoughtful and commercially minded people perspective.
Use people data and insights to influence decisions and proactively address risks
Leadership & manager enablement
Coach leaders and managers on performance management, feedback, difficult conversations, and employee development
Support the development of high-performing, inclusive teams
Help leaders navigate change, ambiguity, and scale
Employee relations & compliance
Lead complex employee relations matters with empathy, fairness, and strong judgement
Ensure compliance with Estonian labour law and internal policies, partnering with legal where needed
Maintain a high bar for confidentiality, integrity, and consistency
Talent & performance
Work with the Senior People Partner, UK to improve and manage performance cycles, career frameworks, and development initiatives
Support recruitment efforts end to end, including role scoping, advising hiring managers, and contributing to structured, high-quality interview processes
Support talent reviews, promotions, and compensation processes
Champion clear role expectations and career progression in a fast-moving tech environment
People operations & employee experience
Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes that deliver a “wow” experience for candidates and employees
Act as a go-to point of contact for internal and external HR-related enquiries, providing timely, professional, and people-first support
Ensure high-quality maintenance of personnel data in our HR platform, meeting all employment and compliance requirements
Support monthly payroll processes in close collaboration with Finance and external providers
Coordinate employee relocation processes when required, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience
Culture & change
Be a culture carrier — reinforcing company values and ways of working
Work to increase and improve employee engagement in Estonia, including organisation and running of team events designed to build collaboration and morale.
Support change initiatives such as reorganisations, leadership transitions, and new ways of working
Gather and act on employee feedback to continuously improve the employee experience
What we’re looking for
Experience
3+ years’ experience in HR / People roles, including significant time as a People Partner or HR Business Partner
Experience supporting tech, product, or engineering teams in a scaling organisation
Strong working knowledge of Estonian employment law (experience in an international context is a plus)
Skills & mindset
Commercially minded with the ability to balance business needs and people outcomes
Confident influencing senior stakeholders and challenging constructively
Pragmatic, calm, and solutions-focused — especially in complex or sensitive situations
Comfortable working with data and using insights to guide decisions
Excellent communication skills in English and Estonian.
